This Cancellation Policy describes how customers may cancel orders for FPGA hardware, software, and services purchased from SystemHighway APS–Denmark (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

You may request a cancellation before the order is shipped.

If the cancellation request is approved:

  • You will receive a full refund

  • No handling or restocking fees apply

Once the hardware has been shipped, the order cannot be canceled and will instead fall under our Return Policy.

2. Cancellation of Software Orders

Software orders may only be canceled if:

  • The download link has not been accessed

  • The activation/license key has not been issued

  • The software has not been installed or used

Software orders cannot be canceled once:

  • The download link is delivered

  • The activation key is generated

  • The software has been activated or accessed

Digital products are non-cancellable after delivery due to their intangible nature.

3. Cancellation of Hardware Orders (After Shipment)

Once FPGA hardware has shipped:

  • The order cannot be canceled

  • Customers may still request a refund within 14 days under EU consumer law, but only if the hardware is unused and not powered on

Shipping and return procedures will follow the terms in our Refund & Return Policy.

4. Cancellation of Services (Technical Support, Integration, Engineering Work)

4.1 Services Not Yet Started

If the service has not begun, cancellation is allowed and a full refund will be issued.

4.2 Services Already In Progress

If work has already started:

  • Only the unused portion may be refunded

  • Completed work, labor hours, or engineering time are non-refundable

4.3 Completed Services

Once the service has been fully delivered, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

5. Custom Orders

Custom hardware, special configurations, or build-to-order items cannot be canceled once production has started.

If cancellation is requested before production:

  • We will attempt to stop the process

  • A cancellation may be granted, depending on the status of the order

Custom orders already in progress or completed are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

6. Subscription or Recurring Services (if applicable)

For any recurring plan or subscription:

  • You may cancel at any time

  • Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle

  • No partial-month refunds are provided

7. How to Request a Cancellation

  • Order number

  • Product or service purchased

  • Reason for cancellation

  • Any relevant supporting details

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

8. Cancellation Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse cancellations when:

  • Hardware has been shipped

  • Software has been downloaded or activated

  • Services have begun or been completed

  • The order involves custom products

  • Fraud or misuse is suspected
